Secrets for A Healthy Omelette

The Healthy Omelette is an easy 2-egg omelette for an easy, high-protein single-serve breakfast ready in 10 minutes. If you love eggs for breakfast, this is the best omelette to start the day and feel full for hours.
  • Ingredients

2 large Eggs beaten: 1/4 teaspoon Salt: 1/8 spoon Ground Pepper: 2 teaspoons Olive Oil: 1 teaspoon Butter: 1/8 teaspoon Garlic Powder: 1/3 cup Baby Spinash: Serve with 2 Cherry Tomatoes sliced & 2 teaspoons finely chopped

  • Instructions
  • Crack the eggs in a bowl & using salt, pepper & garlic powder, set aside.  Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, warm butter & olive oil.   When hot, tilt the pan to spread the oil evenly.  Reduce the stove to medium heat & add the beaten eggs to the pan, tilting the pan to spread the mixture all over the pan. Cook the omelette for 2-3 minutes or until the sides of the egg mixture start to dry, Use a spatula to pick a side & let the uncooked eggs from the middle run under. Keep cooking until the center is almost set.  Sprinkle half the grated cheese, the baby spinach leaves & the remaining cheese, fold in half and cook until cheese is fully melted. Serve with fresh choped parsley & cherry tomatoes. Slide the omelette on a plate & enjoy!!
